Mountaineers, climbers, trekkers and weekend hikers, your paths will surely cross . At Tré la Tête refuge, it’s only a matter of passion.

If the refuge is a nice stop on the variant of the Tour du Mont Blanc, it’s also the perfect base camp for those who are planning big adventures in the mountain.

Mountain summits at your reach. Many well-known summits are located nearby. L’Aiguille de la Bérangère (3425m). Le Mont Tondu (3196m). And of course, les Dômes de Miage (3673m).

On a quest for verticality. For our climber friends, in just a 30 minutes walk, you’ll reach a beautiful climbing site. A few entirely equiped routes start on either side of the gorge originating at the Tré-la-Tête glacier. You will find, between 4 and 7 pitches with difficulties ranging from 4b to 7. The descent is done with chains and links. Be careful : these routes are located above 2000m altitude. You wi’ll have to wait for summer to access them (recommended between June and September).

Lovers of beautiful panoramas. The mountain isn’t only reserved for those who enjoy extreme sports. The refuge is a perfect stopover on a hiking day or a place to rest throughout your stay. You would rather enjoy a “blueberry pies” than use ice axes? Come and have a look at our sunny terrace. It feels good.
